In the upcoming weeks, Hope2Others will be coordinating with the Sun Prairie High School to take part in Culture Week the week of May 20-24.
Students will be able to learn about the country of Tanzania and some of the people who are working hard to improve the lives of those living in the Maasai village of Kisongo.
Hope 2 Others is in the process of building a Medical Clinic of Hope with New Life birthing and nutrition centers on the New Life Band School’s 25-acre campus. Hope 2 Others invites students to learn about the many aspects of life in Tanzania, including education, food, village life, languages, healthcare, currency, transportation and driving regulations, art, music and more.
Together we can make a difference….one brick at a time! Sun Prairie High School’s Student Council will be raising money to purchase bricks to build the Medical Clinic of Hope/New Life Birthing and Nutrition Center of Hope.
In addition, Student Council will be placing an order to sell green, blue and yellow Hope 2 Others bracelets (similar to the LiveStrong bracelets) to raise funds for the Medical Clinic of Hope. While the bracelets will be available for students at the high school to purchase, we are also in the process of approaching local businesses and seeing if they would be interested in selling the bracelets to the community.
